International conference „Knowledge and smart cities“

The International conference „Knowledge and smart cities“ will be held in Sofia on November 26th, 2018 under the patronage of Mayor of Sofia and organized by the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City in partnership with Sofia Development Association. The event will focus on the systematic approach of transforming cities into knowledge cities and the role of digitization and the local governmental policies for smart specialization to accelerate this process. It is expected the conference to be attended by about 150 participants, representatives of the leading Bulgarian and international companies, clusters, universities, research and scientific institutions, NGOs, investors and others knowledge economy and smart cities development stakeholders.

The event aims to become a socially important forum and to drag the attention of all smart city players to the high added value of planning, cooperation and joint investing in an agenda knowledge for development.
