Learn how to bring systemic change to your community, be it at the local or European level, join the Citizen Advocacy Conference & Workshop.

In the first half of the event we will discuss about the role and the impact of citizens in policy process. Specifically, we believe that by mobilising and empowering European citizens (Citizen Advocates) as well as a wider range of constituencies, such as progressive companies, campaigners and foundations through targeted engagement in the policy process, we can foster assertive citizenship so as to create more. Our goal for the discussion is to reflect broadly on what citizens and civil society organisations could do to address some of the current crises and policy challenges of the European Union.

In the second half of the event, we will present the “Citizens lobbying toolkit”, an innovative and easy-to-use guide to lobby for good. If you are an activist, a professional, an academic or a just a concerned citizen, this workshop will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn how to lobby for good and discover the advocacy tools available to you to bring meaningful change in your community. The workshop will be animated by Prof. Alberto Alemanno, based on his book “Lobbying for Change – Find your Voice to Create a Better Society”.

The event will be in English but translation in Bulgarian will be provided.
